We welcome new pupils and their families to our school community.
Most of our school admissions take place in September when our new Nursery and Reception children start. In-year admissions take place outside the normal admission period – for example, children who have recently moved to the area and do not have a school place. We admit children into other year groups if we have a place available.
School Admissions to Nursery and Reception is managed centrally by the Local Authority. The School follows the local authority's admissions policy.
A child will normally start our Nursery in September of the school year in which they turn four. Children join our Reception classes during the academic year in which they reach their fifth birthday. You should note that a place in the Nursery does not guarantee a place in the main school, and parents must apply for Reception places separately.
