SEMH at Ben Jonson Primary School 

At Ben Jonson we are committed to an ambitious and innovative approach to SEMH, which places wellbeing and compassion as central to our mission. We are home to an SEMH provision which is shared across two sites Ben Jonson Primary school and Bowden House (both being on the same site). Bowden house is a specialist school solely for children with SEMH needs which necessitate a specialised curriculum and schooling experience. Alternatively, at Ben Jonson we have a number of places on an SEMH provision which is integrated within the whole school. The offer that these children receive at Ben Jonson, recognises that, while a mainstream setting is appropriate to these children’s needs, they require more comprehensive support to have their needs met.  The support for children on our SEMH provision is bolstered by our whole school SEMH offer.  Read about our whole school SEMH offer in the document below.
